MINUTES
Regular Board Meeting Minutes, April 10, 2023
The meeting was called to order at 4:30 PM by Johnny Kieckhefer Present were Johnny Kieckhefer – Board President, Lynda Kieckhefer-Board Clerk, Sammie Stuart-Board Member and Greg Ashforth, bus driver.
Governing Board Members reviewed the following: Minutes for the March 13, 2023, Regular Board Meeting. Expense Voucher #9110– 2022-2023 – $4,319.51. Timesheets for Pay Period 18 – $1,654.23 and Pay Period 19 – $1,375.13 for 2022-2023. Sammie motioned to approve the above listed minutes and vouchers and payroll time sheets and Lynda seconded the motion. The above documents were unanimously approved with Johnny Kieckhefer voting Aye and Lynda Kieckhefer voting Aye and Sammie Stuart voting Aye.
Old Business – None
New Business –
- Current Bus Issues: Greg Ashforth, bus driver, attended the meeting to discuss a situation with a non-Williamson Valley school district resident whose children have been riding the bus on and off since December of 2022. The board discussed the situation and will allow the students to ride until the end of this school year in May as a temporary allowance. The bus will also make a stop at the Old Stage Stop as a bus stop. Sammie made a motion to accept this decision and Lynda seconded the motion. The above interim situation was unanimously approved with Johnny Kieckhefer voting Aye and Lynda Kieckhefer voting Aye and Sammie Stuart voting Aye. The board requested Laura Moore, Board Assistant, to contact PUSD Transportation Director Kim Barker for additional information regarding these students.
- Executive Session: Sammie motioned to go into executive session to discuss contracts for the next school year. Lynda seconded the motion. The executive session was unanimously approved with Johnny Kieckhefer voting Aye and Lynda Kieckhefer voting Aye and Sammie Stuart voting Aye.
The next board meeting will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Williamson Valley Fire Station. The meeting was adjourned at 5:53PM
